Ekiti Muslim Women Felicitate Ibrahim , Tajudeen On Emergence As APC National, State Assembly Candidates

The Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria- FOMWAN, Ekiti State chapter has rejoiced with the Muslims elected as candidates of the All Progressives Congress-APC for both the National and State Houses of Assembly in Ekiti State.

Starting with the recently elected candidate of the All Progressives Congress-APC for the House of Representatives (Ekiti Federal Constituency 2) Hon (Barrister) Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju, FOMWAN said the feat was worthy of celebration describing the legal practitioner as a truly worthy Muslim with enviable track records.

In the same vein, the Association also felicitated the patron of FOMWAN in Ekiti State and former Coordinator of NACOMYO in the State, Barrister Tajudeen Olutope Ahmed who also emerged candidate for Ekiti East House of Assembly Constituency on the platform of the APC.

In a statement issued and signed by the Amirah of FOMWAN, Ekiti State, Hajia Aishat Toyin Jimoh, the Muslim women described the return of the Otun Ekiti born politician, Ibrahim Olarewaju and the emergence of Barrister Tajudeen Olutope Ahmed  who is vying for the House of Assembly for the first time as deserving and laudable in view of their commitment to humanity, fear of God and doggedness in the face of challenges.

FOMWAN noted that Hon. Ibrahim Olarewaju who had once served as a member of the House of Representatives and Barrister Tajudeen Olutope Ahmed have been rare blessings to Islam and Muslims  and are always proud to identify with and fight for  Islam without sentiments.

The duo were described as  reputable Muslims whose acts of philanthropism are  enviable urging them not to shirk in their responsibilities at being worthy ambassadors of Islam as candidates of the ruling party prior, during and after the 2027 General elections in the country.

While praying for their continued success in all their endeavors, FOMWAN assured all the Muslims contesting various political positions of the full support of every Muslim woman and Muslims in general prior, during and after their election and victory at the polls.

The FOMWAN Amirah in Ekiti State, Hajia Aishat Toyin Jimoh also specially commended the governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji administration for giving Muslims opportunities to serve in different political positions.

She described the BAO administration as the first to genuinely show love and support towards Muslims and Islam since the creation of the State urging him not to change while assuring him of a landmark victory at the June 20 governorship election.
