EKITI FOMWAN EULOGISES ABIYAMO ESTHER OYEBANJI FOUNDATION, BAO ADMINISTRATION FOR BUS GIFT, DESCRIBES GESTURE AS UNPRECEDENTED IN ANNALS OF EKITI MUSLIMS

It was a moment of immense joy and celebration on Thursday as leaders of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ekiti State Chapter, received a brand-new 18-seater bus donated by the Abiyamo Esther Oyebanji Foundation.

The presentation, presided over by the wife of the Governor, *Prof. Olayemi Oyebanji*, in Ado-Ekiti, brought huge relief to FOMWAN members who had, over the years, struggled with the cost of hiring vehicles for official assignments within and outside the State.
Led by its Amirah, Hajia Aishat Toyin Jimoh, the Muslim women sang songs of praise and appreciation to the donors and expressed their gratitude to the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for touching lives in diverse ways, irrespective of religious affiliation.

Members of FOMWAN, Ekiti State, were full of praises for the wife of the Governor, describing her as a shining light and an exemplary woman whose commitment to the welfare and empowerment of women continues to inspire many.
The gesture was also described as a testament to the shared prosperity and inclusive governance of the BAO administration.

In her speech, the Governor’s wife, who presented the keys to the bus, noted that the donation underscored the State Government’s unwavering commitment to shared prosperity, religious harmony, women’s empowerment and inclusive development, ensuring that every segment of society benefits from the dividends of good governance championed by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO).
She appreciated women across Ekiti State for standing firmly by the Governor spiritually, morally and physically, particularly before, during and after the June 20 Ekiti State Governorship election, which secured the Governor’s re-election for a second term in office.
At the same occasion, the Women’s Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) also received a brand-new bus of the same make as the one presented to FOMWAN.
The beneficiaries expressed their profound appreciation to the Abiyamo Esther Oyebanji Foundation and the State Government for demonstrating equity, fairness and inclusiveness in its dealings with the people of Ekiti State, regardless of religious affiliation.

NAPAIS EKITI EMBARKS ON INAUGURATION OF ZONAL EXECUTIVES AS STATE CHAIRMAN HIGHLIGHTS SUCCESSES WITHIN FOUR YEARS

Executive of National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools ( NAPAIS) in Ekiti State has inaugurated the Central Zone of the association being one of the four zones billed to be inaugurated in the State. At the inauguration held in Ado Ekiti, the State Chairman of NAPAIS, Ustadh Salahudeen Muftau who was joined by other Executive members said the Ekiti Central Zone was the first zonal executive to be inaugurated in the State while others are to be inaugurated in the State. Another zonal executive of the National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools (NAPAIS) in Ekiti State has been inaugurated by the State Executive. The newly inaugurated zonal executive was Ekiti North following the inauguration of Ekiti Central Zonal Executive over a week ago. With the inauguration of Ekiti North and Ekiti Central Zonal Executives, the State Executive is expected to inaugurate two more zonal executives in the coming weeks.
