Ekiti State Amir Hajj 2026, Imam Bakare Presents Official Report of 2026 Hajj To Ekiti State Government Amid Applause Over Good Conducts Of Pilgrims
Following the successful conclusion of the 2026 hajj to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, the leader of the Ekiti State contingent, Alhaji Abdul- Rasheed Bakare has presented the official report of the holy pilgrimage to the Ekiti State government.
While presenting the report to the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji through the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro in her officer, the Amir Hajj 2026 described the support from the State government prior , during and after the holy pilgrimage as unprecedented.
Alhaji Bakare said the governor's support was instrumental to the overall success recorded by the State Pilgrims who went to the holy land from the State.
In view of governor Oyebanji's special affection towards the Muslims in the State especially the Pilgrims that performed this year's hajj, the Amir Hajj who is also the Imam of Erijiyan Ekiti in Ekameta LCDA prayed for the governor's success in his second term in office and beyond and also offered special prayers for the Deputy Governor, the Governor's wife, the SSG and all aides and allies of the governor.
In her response, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Habeebat Adubiaro lauded the leader of the State contingent to the holy pilgrimage, Alhaji Abdul Rasheed Bakare for his unwavering commitment to diligence and effective service delivery.
The SSG on behalf of the governor thanked the Amir Hajj for being a worthy father and leader of repute in the task bestowed upon him by the State government.
She noted that the rare qualities and virtues exhibited by the cleric over the years placed in good stead for such onerous task which the Secretary to the State government noted was well delivered as there were no casualties nor any unpalatable news from the camp of Team Ekiti before , during and after the holy pilgrimage.
In company of the Imam of Erijiyan Ekiti was his Personal Assistant, Ustaz Daud Suleiman who joined in the prayer session for the State government
A total of 98 male and female pilgrims went to the holy land of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia for this year's hajj through Ekiti State.
