GOODWILL MESSAGE BY THE PRESIDENT , NIGERIA SUPREME COUNCIL FOR ISLAMIC AFFAIRS, EKITI STATE CHAPTER , ALH. (DR.) HAMMED.AFOLABI BAKARE ON THE OCCASION OF THE 1448 HIJRAH CELEBRATION IN ADO EKITI HELD SUNDAY, 28TH JUNE, 2026.



As salam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatouh ! 

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 
I am delighted to be here today to partake in the celebration of the new year of the Islamic lunar calendar.

I congratulate all of us for witnessing the new year of 1448 A.H. May Allah (SWT) make the new year a year of sincere worship and tremendous divine blessings for all of us. Ameen. 

I appreciate and thank our youths under the umbrella of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO) for organizing this annual Hijra celebration programme . It's my hope that the lecture we are going to listen to here today shall be of great spiritual benefits for all of us . I therefore enjoin us to be attentive so we can derive maximum benefits that will make us better Muslims with expectations of great rewards from Allah (SWT) . May He not deprive us of the reward but grant us success here on Earth and in the Hereafter . Aameen. 

I congratulate our father - the President General, League of Imams and Alfas , South West , Edo and Delta States - Sheikh Jamiu Keulere Bello and all our other Imams across the State for their fatherly support and prayers. Allah will grant them long life and prosperity . Aameen . 

I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate our amiable Governor - Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) on his electoral victory that ushered him to the second term in office which we have strived and prayed fervently for . Alhamdulillahi for answered prayers . Huge congratulations to you , sir ! My  people and I wish you a more peaceful , impactful, remarkable, memorable and prosperous tenure of office by God's grace . This second term in the office shall be better than your first term , in shaa Allah  . Allah (SWT) will grant you the strength, the power , the grace and all enablement to govern well and record tremendous and more impactful achievements for the entire citizenry and the good people of Ekiti State. 

I'm happy and confident to affirm the popular support of the Ekiti Muslim Community for your Administration since it came on board four years ago. The same growing support we have demonstrated again at the just concluded governorship election in the state that coalesced to your victory .

 We thank Allah SWT that you recorded a landslide victory at the poll. It's our wish , prayer and hope that our members will benefit more than before in all spheres of your administration in the second term. We implore you to put this into consideration and make it happen by God's grace . 

We assure you of our unalloyed cooperation and support towards the success of your administration till 2030  Masha Allah. 

Similarly, I call on our children and members in political positions to continue to rally support for our religion - Al-Islam and Muslim faithfuls across the length and breadth of Ekiti State in order to enhance further our well - being  , welfare and development. 

The Holy Quran says , Muslims are brothers of one another. Therefore, they should foster peace, progress and development amongst ourselves. They are to fear Allah so He can be merciful to them . May the Almighty Allah continue to bless us and promote us in all our different fields and endeavours. Ameen 

Furthermore, I want to charge us to vote en - masse for all our Muslim candidates at the various forthcoming elections to ensure their victories at the polls . In Shaa Allah, we shall do same to facilitate the second term victory of our dear president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu next January. We pray Allah to put an end to the current challenges threatening the peace and security of this nation and grant us succour. Ameen . 

Lastly, I congratulate us once again on this edition of the Hijra celebration of the year 1448A.H and wish us a happy and more prosperous year ahead. Happy new year to you all ! Congratulations to our amiable Governor BAO !

Long live , Federal Republic of Nigeria !

NAPAIS EKITI EMBARKS ON INAUGURATION OF ZONAL EXECUTIVES AS STATE CHAIRMAN HIGHLIGHTS SUCCESSES WITHIN FOUR YEARS

Executive of National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools ( NAPAIS) in Ekiti State has inaugurated the Central Zone of the association being one of the four zones billed to be inaugurated in the State. At the inauguration held in Ado Ekiti, the State Chairman of NAPAIS, Ustadh Salahudeen Muftau who was joined by other Executive members said the Ekiti Central Zone was the first zonal executive to be inaugurated in the State while others are to be inaugurated in the State. FEW DAYS AFTER INAUGURATING EKITI CENTRAL EXECUTIVE, EKITI STATE NAPAIS INAUGURATES IMAM ISMAIL RAAJI LED EKITI NORTH EXECUTIVE

Another zonal executive of the National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools (NAPAIS) in Ekiti State has been inaugurated by the State Executive. The newly inaugurated zonal executive was Ekiti North following the inauguration of Ekiti Central Zonal Executive over a week ago. With the inauguration of Ekiti North and Ekiti Central Zonal Executives, the State Executive is expected to inaugurate two more zonal executives in the coming weeks.
