FOMWAN EKITI CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR OYEBANJI ON RESOUNDING GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION VICTORY

The Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) on his victory in the June 20 governorship election, describing the outcome as a well-deserved reward for his inclusive leadership, commitment to fairness, and remarkable developmental achievements across the state.
In a congratulatory message signed and issued by the State Amirah of FOMWAN, Hajia Aishat Toyin Jimoh, the association expressed delight over the overwhelming support received by Governor Oyebanji from the people of Ekiti State, noting that the victory reflected the confidence reposed in his administration by the electorate.

According to the association, Governor Oyebanji has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to equality, justice, and fair representation of all segments of society irrespective of religious, political, or social affiliations.
FOMWAN particularly commended the Governor's special interest in the welfare of Muslims and his recognition of the contributions of the Muslim community to the growth and development of Ekiti State. The association noted that under his administration, Muslims have enjoyed greater inclusion in governance, appointments, and policy implementation, fostering a sense of belonging and strengthening religious harmony.

FOMWAN further applauded the Governor for his developmental strides in critical sectors including education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, sports, women development, and social welfare. The association stated that these achievements have positively impacted residents and contributed significantly to the socio-economic advancement of Ekiti State.
While praying for greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he embarks on another term of service, FOMWAN reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, development, and the overall well-being of Ekiti people. The association urged all residents to continue supporting the Oyebanji administration in building a more prosperous, united, and inclusive Ekiti State.
