FEW DAYS AFTER INAUGURATING EKITI CENTRAL EXECUTIVE, EKITI STATE NAPAIS INAUGURATES IMAM ISMAIL RAAJI LED EKITI NORTH EXECUTIVE

Another zonal executive of the  National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools (NAPAIS) in Ekiti State has been  inaugurated by the State Executive.

The newly inaugurated zonal executive was Ekiti North following the inauguration of Ekiti Central Zonal Executive over a week ago.

With the inauguration of Ekiti North and Ekiti Central Zonal Executives, the State Executive is expected to inaugurate two more zonal executives in the coming weeks.

At the inauguration of Ekiti North zonal executive held at the Ilupeju Community Central Mosque, Ilupeju -Ekiti.

Ilupeju Ekiti at the weekend, the State Chairman of NAPAIS, Ustadh Salahudeen Muftau who was joined by other Executive members presented the law guiding the association over to the new zonal executive to guide them in th discharge of their duties, their responsibilities and how to work towards the progress of the association.

The State executive urged them to uphold the confidence and trust reposed in them and carry out their responsibilities with th fesr of Allah .

With reference to verses of the holy Quran, Ustaz Salahudeen Muftau prayed Allah rewards all the zonal executive members abundantly and assured them of full support and coordination from the State executive.

Ustadh Muftau being the NAPAIS State chairman highlighted the achievements and challenges of the association in the past four years that it surfaced in Ekiti State.

In his goodwill message, the Ekiti North zonal coordinator, Imam Ismail Aremu Raaji expressed sincere appreciation to the State executive for the  confidence reposed in him to steer the ship of NAPAIS in Ekiti North zone saying the appointment was a call to serve and a responsibility that demanded dedication, integrity and commitment to the growth and effectiveness of the  propagation of Islam  in schools within Ekiti North.

While formally accepting his  appointment as the coordinator of NAPAiS Ekiti North, comprising Ikole, Oye, Ido-Osi, and Ekiti East Local Government Areas, Imam Raaji promised to place premium on effective leadership, coordination,  communication, discipline, accountability and  passion for Islamic education and  mentorship of students. 

He promised  commitment to teamwork, proper supervision of activities across the four LGAs, and ensuring that NAPAiS programs align with the vision and objectives of the association at the State and national levels.

The Ekiti North zonal coordinator affirmed his determination to discharge his duties with utmost sincerity, diligence, fairness, and fear of Allah, while working collaboratively with other executives, coordinators, and members to promote unity, progress, and excellence in all assigned responsibilities.

Admonition of both the zonal and State Executives was anchored by the Chief Imam Isan Ekiti, Imam Taofeeq Junaid who dealt on the importance of keeping Al-amaanah (trust) given to the new each and every one of the executive members.

The Ekiti State Executive of NAPAIS informed the gathering about some of its  achievements including  the actualization of a uniform syllabus for all Arabic schools in Ekiti State, constitution of the association, registration under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)  as well as approval of an NBAIS examination center for Ekiti State Chapter of NAPAIS known as the Allied School of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ado Ekiti

Furthermore, they said  NAPAIS Ekiti State has succeeded in its quests to expand the coast of the association across  Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ogun and Lagos States while the association now has a National recognition in view of its existence in  almost all the States of the country.

In a statement issued  by the State PRO of NAPAIS, Shaykh Murtado Abdul-Ganiyy  and signed by the State  Chairman of NAPAIS, Ustadh Salahudeen Muftau and State General Secretary, Shaykh  Tohirudeen Abdul- salaam said other members of the Ekiti North Zonal Executive include Imam Ismail Aremu Raaji from Ikole LG as coordinator, Shaykh Mahruf Idrees from Oye LG as Assistant Coordinator and Shaykh Muhammad Isowo from Oye LG as the Secretary.

Others are Shaykh Ibrahim Aruna from Ekiti East as Treasurer, Shaykh Muhammed Abdul-fattah from Ido-Osi as Financial Secretary and Imam Abdulazeez Ajibade as Public Relations Officer.

The suurah committee that spear headed the inauguration was headed by Imam Maruf Aroyehun while Imam Junaid Olarewaju served as Secretary of the suurah committee.

General Secretary of NAPAIS in Ekiti State, Shaykh Tohirudeen Abdul-salam thanked the suurah committee for the thorough job done to discover, assess and screen the individuals who made the zonal committee.

The State executive informed the press that other zones that the two zones expected to be  inaugurated in the coming weeks are  NAPAIS Ekiti South and NAPAIS Ekiti West.

Their responsibilities are to complement the efforts of the State executive in tandem with the vision of the National Executive and members.

The chairman of suurah committee of NAPAIS and the Ekiti State Formation, Shaykh Abdulazeez Abubakar Adekilekun and Secretary, Sulainan Hassan Olanase said all those selected were considered based on their antecedents and track records which were described as laudable and enviable.
