NTERIOR MINISTER, ADETUNJI OJO APPROVES PROMOTION OF DESERVING NIGERIA CORRECTIONAL SERVICE OFFCERS AS 20 EMERGE AT EKITI COMMAND

The Nigerian Correctional Service, Ekiti State Command will tomorrow formally decorate over 20 newly promoted officers. 

The outstanding officers of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Ekiti State Command having displayed exemplified  professionalism, discipline, integrity, and unwavering dedication to justice and rehabilitation were counted worthy for promotion by the authorities.

The formal decoration of the officers will begin at noon tomorrow at the State Headquarters office along Afao road in Ado Ekiti.

According to the  State Public Relations officer, Nigeria Correctional Service, Ekiti State Command, 
Folusho Babalola the event will be presided by the State Controller of Corrections, Ekiti state Command, Christy Okuseinde.

The promotion exercise which cuts across all states of the federation was magnanimously approved by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo

Ekiti State Muslim Media Practitioners Conclude Courtesy Visits To Media Organizations, As Managers Assure of Synergy

On the heels of the controversies that trailed the halting of activities and sitting of the Sharia Arbitration Panel in Ekiti State, Executive members of the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) in the State embarked on courtesy and sensitization visits to media organizations within the State. The  visit took MMPN leaders to various Broadcast Media organizations in Ado, Ikere and Ido Ekiti where the Managements were urged to put in more efforts at ensuring accuracy and fact checking while  discharging their duties. Sheikh Kewulere, Muslim Pilgrims Rate Oyebanji High On Supports Towards 2025 Pilgrimage

Representatives of the Muslims who performed this year's holy pilgrimage to Makkah and Medinah in Saudi Arabia have held a special thanksgiving service at the Ado Ekiti Central Mosque. The program held on Friday presided by the President League of Imams and Alfas,South West, Edo and Delta States who is also the Grand Imam of Ado Ekiti, Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere Bello took place prior to the Friday Jummat prayer. During the special thanksgiving service, Sheikh Kewulere acknowledged the various supportive efforts of governor Biodun Oyebanji towards the Muslim community in Ekiti State which the cleric said increased during the preparatory stages for the 2025 holy pilgrimage.
