Ekiti 2022: FOMWAN South West Youth Camp Ends Amidst Applause From Stakeholders
It was a colourful and fulfilling ending of a week long activities at the 2022 Youth Camp of the Federation of Muslim Women Association (FOMWAN) which was hosted by the Ekiti State chapter .
The Youth Camp featuring muslim ladies from all the South West states of the country came to an end on Saturday night while the over 200 participants departed Ado Ekiti early Sunday .
Amirah, FOMWAN, Ekiti state , Alhaja Muibat Akingbade whose birthday coincided with the Youth camp , Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Alhaja Khadijat Ogunleye and all executive of FOMWAN in Ekiti state were grateful to Allah for His mercy and protection before, during and after the program .
They also commended all stakeholders in islam, state government and we'll wishers for all the support that aided the hosting of the FOMWAN Youth Camp describing it as successful and impactful .
Participating Muslim ladies also commended the organizers for their relentless efforts and motherly care while the Youth camp lasted said the benefits of the camp were immeasurable and memorable.
There were lectures delivered by different resource persons including Associate Professor (Alhaja) Habibat Adubiaro from the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, FOMWAN,Ikere Ekiti Dawaah Officer, Mrs Ganiyat Ganiyu, Coordinator of Islamisgood Foundation, Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo and Amirah FOMWAN Youth , Hajia Soliat Sallahudeen.
The President, Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs in Ekiti State, Alhaji (Dr) Ahmed Afolabi Bakare on company of the Secretary of the group,Alhaji Munir Jegede who visited the FOMWAN Youth Camp on Saturday congratulated the muslim women group for their purposeful efforts and strides towards propagating and entrenching islam among families, households and across communities and states.
The Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs assured FOMWAN of its consistent support while praying for more successes in future endeavours .
Prayers were offered for the safe return of all participants to their various destinations .
