Pre-Ramadan: Nasfat Ado Ekiti Prepares Members For Ramadan Through Free Health Screening

As Muslims all over the world eagerly await the holy month of Ramadan, executive of the Nasrul llah l' fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) Ado Ekiti Branch will on Sunday February 15 organize a free health screening program for all their members both men and women.

According information available on the specially designed flyer for the program, the health program is to prepare members health wise for the holy month of Ramadan which hopefully begins on Tuesday February 17.

Chairman of NASFAT, Ado Ekiti Branch, Dr Abdulazeez Ibrahim who as a health specialist will preside at the one day exercise which will begin at about 8am while the weekly asalatu is going on.

Health practitioners are expected to be on ground to carry out series of tests including height, weight, body mass index respiratory rate, pulse rate, saturated partial pressure of oxygen, blood pressure, blood sugar among others.

The gesture is aimed at ascertaining the state of health of members and also prescribing necessary medications and offering health talk and advice to avoid unexpected death and sudden breakdown of health.

The February 2026 edition of the health  screening program is another in the series of similar programs held at the headquarters of the Islamic organization in recent time as such had been held several times in the past with appreciable successes and breakthroughs as members often have mind blowing testimonies about improvements in their health status after every program.

The Pre-Ramadan health screening exercise becomes necessary in view of the stress and change in daily life styles of muslims during the fasting period.

Members of NASFAT, Ado Ekiti Branch and other branches across the State as well as all interested Muslims are advised to take advantage of the free exercise to know their health status and receive necessary advice from professionals on how to maintain good health and avoid unhealthy lifestyles.

Aside the free health talk, NASFAT Ado Ekiti Branch is passionate about people oriented programs and often organize different programs for different classes of people ranging from women, youth, children and elders.
