Nasfat Youth Ekiti Zone Honours SSG, Prof. Adubiaro Over Unprecedented Impactful Efforts, Supports
Members of Nasfat both men and women, old and young joined the Youth wing at the weekly asalatu on Sunday February 8 to honour the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Professor Habibat Adubiaro.
It was an occasion to eulogize and shower encomium on the SSG for what the youths described as unprecedented impacts through various personal and official means.
The youths led by the coordinator, Qozeem Alaketu reeled out some of the notable efforts of Professor Adubiaro at facilitating gainful government employment for various youths who are members of different Muslim organizations and families.
Aside fixing qualified persons up for employment, the Nasfat Youth, Ado Ekiti Branch lauded her for the relentless efforts at supporting the academic pursuit of various less privileged children and adults as well as other financial assistance for other classes of people.
A specially made plaque christened Award of Appreciation was presented to the SSG who was joined by her husband, Alhaji Suleiman Adubiaro, various Muslim political office holders and Nasfat women in their numbers.
One after the other, the members of the parent body and missioners as well as Muslim appointees in the government of governor Biodun Oyebanji took turn to extol the virtues of Professor Habibat Adubiaro who was described as a role model for motherhood and Islam and a shinning example worthy of emulation for everyone.
Chairman of Nasfat, Ado Ekiti Branch, Dr Abdulazeez Ibrahim acknowledged the numerous timely input and interventions of the SSG which had led to the economic stability and elevation of different families both at the State and Federal levels.
The award recipient in her characteristic humble nature thanked all members of Nasfat both old and young for the honour bestowed on her.
As she returned all glory to Allah, the SSG specially celebrated her husband whom she described as her pillar who supports all the lofty efforts she has made before she assumed the exalted political position and since she was appointed by governor Oyebanji.
She urged women to be submissive to their husbands and not allow societal, political nor academic positions influence them negatively against the injunctions of Allah
Professor Adubiaro who described Ekiti State governor as a rare gem with special place in his heart for Muslims said no governor in the history of Ekiti State has never been kind and accommodating towards Muslims as the incumbent governor.
She urged Muslims in their numbers to sustain their support for the governor prior and during the forthcoming June 20 election with an assurance that the governor will improve on his people oriented programs and policies without undermining the interest of Muslims in the State.
Ekiti State Zonal missioner of Nasfat, Alhaji Kamorudeen Oluwatoki and the missioner of Ado Ekiti Branch, Alhaji Abdulfattah Abdulazeez prayed for continued divine guidance and protection for the SSG and her household
The SSG and her team promised to support the fencing project currently going on at the Nasfat Ado Ekiti Branch in appreciation of the honour bestowed on her.
Alhaja Habibat Omolara Adubiaro born in Oyo State, married to a prominent Ado Ekiti indigene and blessed with promising children is a renowned academic who specializes in Food Chemistry and Organic Synthesis.
Having been a member of Nasfat for over 2 decades, she had served in different capacities in different Muslim organizations and at different academic institutions including the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and Federal University, Oye Ekiti where her records and profile remain unblemished.
In 2008, she was named Osupa Adinni as a worthy Ambassador of Islam, by the United Muslim Council of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter.
She bagged her first degree at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State in 1994 and got her Masters Degree from the Emiti State University with PhD grade followed by doctorate degree in Food Chemistry in 2004 and 2010.
She joined the service of Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and lectured for 13 years where she rose to the position of Senior Lecturer before later joined the service of Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Nigeria as Lecture I.
A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Chemistry of the University, she was the special Adviser to former Governor of Ekiti State between year 2003 and 2004.
