Former Coach, Ademola Agbana Again Teams Up With Ekiti United FC Technical Crew Ahead NNL Second Stanza
In it's quest to broaden the technical department of the team, Management of Ekiti United FC has engaged the service of a renowned Ekiti based Youth Coach, Ademola Agbana.
This follows conclusion of days of talks between the coach and the Management concerning the mandate to ensure a better performance in the second stanza of the 2023/24 NNL which begins next week.
Ademola Agbana who had once tutored Ekiti United FC is returning to the club for his second stint to complement the efforts of the present coaching crew.
The Ekiti United coaching crew has a herculean task of ensuring the team grabs a Super 8 qualification ticket despite currently occupying a precarious position on the League table with 13 points from 11 matches in the first stanza of the league.
Having earlier played 1-1 with Nigeria Premier League side, Insurance FC in a recent friendly match, the team has lined up some other top rated friendly matches to assess the players invited to beef up the team in the second stanza.
At least 18 players from the main team have left the club as 10 were dropped to the Feeders Team while 8 were showed the exit doors.
The second stanza of the NNL 2023/24 will begin on Sunday next week when League Leaders, Madiba FC from Lagos will be visiting Ekiti to face the BAO Boys at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
In the 12 team Southern Conference Group A table, Madiba are leading the table with 25 points from 11 matches , followed by Beyond Limits FC with 22 points.
The top two teams in each group will qualify for the NNL 2024 Super 8.
