Ekiti Advancement Frontiers Congratulates Oyebanji on Ekiti Airport's Commercial flights Status, says Second Tenure will Foster More Accelerated Development and Prosperity

The Ekiti Advancement Frontiers-EAF  has congratulated the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji on the Approval for commercial flights in Ekiti Airport by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA).

EAF Convener, Mr. Adedeji Oso in a statement made available to the press in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday, said Governor Oyebanji's passion for the development of Ekiti and her people is the primary reason the group has thrown its weight behind the Governor for a second term in office.

Oso stated that the approval for commencement of commercial flights in Ekiti Airport will open the state to more economic opportunities, investments and create jobs for residents of the State which is in tandem with the shared prosperity agenda of the Oyebanji's administration.

'It is pertinent for Ekiti people to re-elect Oyebanji to complete the various infrastructural projects ongoing in the state and for broader implementations of policies of his government which has started yielding tremendous progress for Ekiti and improving the state economy.

'Oyebanji's policies, initiatives and programs aligns with the policy document of Ekiti Advancement Frontiers and we salute the Governor for his passion for the development of Ekiti and his dedication to eradicating poverty in the state through agriculture, skills acquisitions, prioritising workers and pensioners welfare amongst others.

'Judging from what we have seen so far in Ekiti in the last three years, Oyebanji's second term will usher in greater developmental projects and economic prosperity for Ekiti and we are rooting for him to conclude his good works'. The statement read.

The Independent Shari’ah Arbitration Panel in Ekiti State held its inaugural public sitting in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Thursday adjudicating on two marriage-related disputes. The panel, presided over by three Kadhis Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, Imam Abdulraheem Junaid-Bamigbola, and Dr. Ibrahim Aminullahi-Ogunrinde is aimed at providing arbitration based on Islamic jurisprudence. In the first case, the head of the panel, Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, announced that the dispute between the couple was resolved through a consent judgment. The resolution was facilitated by earlier interventions from family members, which paved the way for a peaceful settlement. However, the second case where  the wife accused her husband of neglecting his marital responsibilities was adjourned until January 30 for further hearing after listening to both parties. Ekiti State Muslim Media Practitioners Begin Courtesy Visits To Media Houses, Call For Adherence To Best Ethical Practices, Accurate Reportage of Events Concerning Muslims, Islam

The Chairman, Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) Ekiti State chapter, Alhaji Yusuf Akeusola and members of the Association have begun courtesy visits to media organizations in the State. The MMPN Executives on Monday began with a visit to Fresh FM and Voice FM  both in Ado Ekiti where they were well received. The General Manager of Fresh FM, Mr Jide Ogunluyi was on ground to recieve the MMPN team while the Accountant recieved them on half of the Voice FM General Manager,  Management and staff. At the two private radio stations, MMPN chairman, Ekiti State highlighted the purpose of the visit with a special focus on the misrepresentation in  some sections of the media on issues related to the Ekiti Sharia Arbitration Panel.
