OYEBANJI'S FORM SUBMISSION, TEATAMENT OF ACCEPTABILITY -APC Chieftain, Oguntoyinbo
A community leader and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oye Local government, Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has urged Ekiti people particularly APC members to sustain their support for governor Biodun Oyebanji to run for 2nd term in office in order to consolidate on the gains of democracy and build on the current developments.
Exchanging views with journalists in Ado on th heels of the submission of nomination form by the governor on Wednesday at the National APC Secretariat in Abuja, the OBALODO of OYE-EKITI, explained that going by the current ovations and endorsements by all stakeholders in Ekiti state, like labour unions, artisans, professional bodies, associations, Political parties, former governors and their deputies, former and Current National and State Assembly members, women groups, market women, students body, political appointees, civil servants, and traditional rulers, it shows that governor Oyebanji was the obvious preferred choice of Ekiti people.
The former NOA boss in Ekiti State declared that if Oyebanji could emerge as the first to win the Governorship elections on two consecutive times, the current tempo of developments in agricultural, social and economic investments, roads infrastructure, education, food security, the social political future of the State will be consolidated and secured .
Chief Oguntoyinbo expressed hope that the governorship ticket would in 2030 shift to the South Senatorial District.
Chief Oguntoyinbo who is the chairman of Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency lauded the inclusive administration of governor Oyebanji unlike in times past when politics used to divide people of the State across party and religious lines.
He commended the rare humility, integrity, honesty, generosity and dignity exhibited by the governor as unparalleled virtues that stand him out and make him the preferred choice until 2030 for the State.
The former Oye Local government Chairman called on the good of the state with foresight to continue to drum support for the governor to pick the Governorship ticket at the APC Primary on October 27.
