KAJOLA LCDA CHAIRMAN, OJO AJAYI COUNTERS ANTI-ABEJIDE CAMPAIGN, RALLIES SUPPORT FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION CHAIRMAN

In a swift response to the online protest against the person of Elder Samuel Alaba Abejide who is the chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, the Chairman of Kajola LCDA, Chief Adebayo Ojo Ajayi has carpeted those calling for the removal of the veteran politician from office.

In a statement issued and signed by the LCDA Chairman on Tuesday, he berated the actions of the unknown persons hiding under a respected and popular group known as Ekiti Future Agenda.

Chief Ajayi wondered the reason behind the spurious, unfounded allegations and unprintable words against Chief Abejide whom he described as a lover of peace, progress and development of Ekiti State as a whole.

The Kajola LCDA Chairman noted that Chief Abejide has been a role model and a reputable leader in politics for years with untainted personality and reputation.

He urged the elder stateman to ignore the purported defamatory online publication and continue in his purposeful leadership towards complementing the strides of governor Biodun Oyebanji through effective service delivery at the grassroots level.

Chief Ajayi emphasized that the entire Ikole Local Government people and leaders are behind Chief Samuel Abejide and will remain steadfast to ensure those with sinister motive do not have their way in bringing him down through online publications laced with lies and defamation of character.

Kajola LCDA Chairman also commended governor Biodun Oyebanji for keeping his promise by rewarding hardwork, diligence and commitment of his followers and political loyalists like Chief Samuel Abejide whom he noted is versatile, experienced, godly, calm, visionary and courageous adding that an elderly man of Chief Abejide's age, status and experience is needed by the younger generation of politicians and administrators.

Chief Ajayi urged all Ekiti sons and daughters to remain united in the task of making the State better than how it was before now.

Ekiti State Muslim Media Practitioners Begin Courtesy Visits To Media Houses, Call For Adherence To Best Ethical Practices, Accurate Reportage of Events Concerning Muslims, Islam

The Chairman, Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) Ekiti State chapter, Alhaji Yusuf Akeusola and members of the Association have begun courtesy visits to media organizations in the State. The MMPN Executives on Monday began with a visit to Fresh FM and Voice FM  both in Ado Ekiti where they were well received. The General Manager of Fresh FM, Mr Jide Ogunluyi was on ground to recieve the MMPN team while the Accountant recieved them on half of the Voice FM General Manager,  Management and staff. At the two private radio stations, MMPN chairman, Ekiti State highlighted the purpose of the visit with a special focus on the misrepresentation in  some sections of the media on issues related to the Ekiti Sharia Arbitration Panel.
