Kajola LCDA Chairman, Chief Ajayi Abass Spreads Empowerment To Widows, Farmers, Mothers with Multiple Births, Others

 It was a time to reward loyalty, diligence and commitment to the progress of ones community as dozens of beneficiaries smiled  home with different items and cash courtesy of the Kajola LCDA Chairman, Hon Chief Abass Ajayi administration .

The LCDA headquarters was filled to capacity as people from various communities that make up the LCDA converged in large number.

At the occasion where the working and farm tools were distributed, the chairman said the gesture was aimed at positively touching the lives of the people irrespective of their political, ethnic or religious leanings.

Hon Ajayi said beneficiaries were not selected on political grounds but meant to go round people of diverse status including artisans,  farmers and widows as well as people from other political parties.

He noted that the initiative was in line with the Governor Biodun  Oyebanji led administration's drive at impacting lives across board with a view to enhancing productivity and food production in the council area.

Items distributed included food, cash, cutlasses, herbicides and others .

Earlier the Baba Egbe Omo Ijesa- Isu Ekiti, Chief Paul Alabi urged    people of the LCDA to always pay their taxes saying he pays his yearly as his own contribution to the development of the LCDA.

The former  Ekiti State deputy governor urged the people to vote enmasse for Governor Biodun Oyebanji in a appreciation of his numerous people friendly policies and projects.

High Chief Jide Awe who is the Special Adviser to Ekiti State governor advised people to  go into farming in a bid get rid of hunger and poverty.

While commending the Kajola LCDA Chairman for the empowerment initiative, Chief Awe said it was an ideally measure to give back to the masses.
