Technical Advisor On Sports, Dr Osetoba Hails Ekiti Contingent To Omoluabi Cup

Dr. Mrs. Osetoba Olusola, Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports Development, has congratulated the Ekiti State contingent for their impressive performance at the recently concluded Omoluabi Governor's Cup competition held at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

In a congratulatory message extended to Ekiti State NAPPS, Dr. Osetoba Olusola was full of praises and highly commended the young learners for their enthusiasm and dedication to sports, praising them for flying the Ekiti State flag with honour at the competition. 

She expressed her excitement about the remarkable achievement, noting that it underscores the Governor Oyebanji-led administration's commitment to grassroots sports development.

The Technical Advisor reiterated the administration's determination to boost grassroots sports development, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent and partnering with NAPPS to further provides opportunities for them to excel.

Her congratulatory message was shared with Pastor Durojaiye Samson Ojo, Ekiti State NAPPS President, further highlighting the collaborative efforts to promote sports development in the state.

Ekiti State Shari’ah Panel Holds First Public Sitting, Resolves Marriage Dispute

The Independent Shari’ah Arbitration Panel in Ekiti State held its inaugural public sitting in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Thursday adjudicating on two marriage-related disputes. The panel, presided over by three Kadhis Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, Imam Abdulraheem Junaid-Bamigbola, and Dr. Ibrahim Aminullahi-Ogunrinde is aimed at providing arbitration based on Islamic jurisprudence. In the first case, the head of the panel, Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, announced that the dispute between the couple was resolved through a consent judgment. The resolution was facilitated by earlier interventions from family members, which paved the way for a peaceful settlement. However, the second case where  the wife accused her husband of neglecting his marital responsibilities was adjourned until January 30 for further hearing after listening to both parties.
