Ekiti East Unity Cup Takes Center Stage As US Based, ......... Identifies With Youths





It's a season of football actions at different Local Government areas of Ekiti State as youth loving individuals in their private capacities have supported football inclined youths in their  various communities.

Today(Wednesday) attention shifts to Ekiti East where a youth football competition sponsored by a United States based ........., Hon.Oladele Ogunsakin is billed to kick off.

The competition tagged Dele Super Ekiti East Unity Cup 2022 will feature youths teams from all the wards in Ekiti East.

According to Ekiti East Local Football Council, all necessary logistics have been perfected to ensure a hitch tournament that will run till December 2022.

Four matches will be played on Wednesday November 30 being day 1 of the Dele Super Ekiti East Unity Cup as Ward 8 and Ward 9 will trade tackles at Omuo Polytechnic Football pitch while 

In other matches,  Ward 1 will face Ward 2 just as Ward 4 will entertain Ward 5 and Ward 4 will slug it out with Ward 5.

All four matches are to be played simultaneously at different centers.

 Day two matches are billed for December 4.

The Independent Shari’ah Arbitration Panel in Ekiti State held its inaugural public sitting in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Thursday adjudicating on two marriage-related disputes. The panel, presided over by three Kadhis Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, Imam Abdulraheem Junaid-Bamigbola, and Dr. Ibrahim Aminullahi-Ogunrinde is aimed at providing arbitration based on Islamic jurisprudence. In the first case, the head of the panel, Imam Abdullahi Abdul-Mutolib, announced that the dispute between the couple was resolved through a consent judgment. The resolution was facilitated by earlier interventions from family members, which paved the way for a peaceful settlement. However, the second case where  the wife accused her husband of neglecting his marital responsibilities was adjourned until January 30 for further hearing after listening to both parties. Ekiti State Muslim Media Practitioners Begin Courtesy Visits To Media Houses, Call For Adherence To Best Ethical Practices, Accurate Reportage of Events Concerning Muslims, Islam

The Chairman, Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) Ekiti State chapter, Alhaji Yusuf Akeusola and members of the Association have begun courtesy visits to media organizations in the State. The MMPN Executives on Monday began with a visit to Fresh FM and Voice FM  both in Ado Ekiti where they were well received. The General Manager of Fresh FM, Mr Jide Ogunluyi was on ground to recieve the MMPN team while the Accountant recieved them on half of the Voice FM General Manager,  Management and staff. At the two private radio stations, MMPN chairman, Ekiti State highlighted the purpose of the visit with a special focus on the misrepresentation in  some sections of the media on issues related to the Ekiti Sharia Arbitration Panel.
